Identity design

The brief:

Create a brand identity for a start-up that offers expert wine knowledge and intimate dining experiences.

The idea:

Wines are often paired to food, situations and across courses in a meal. I used this concept of pairing throughout the identity: in the brandmark (the bracket), imagery (pairing wine descriptions/flavours) and typographic detailing (+ symbol).

Pattern

I chose subtle patterns to add depth to the identity and fresh colours to balance the vibrant imagery.
